No, absolutely not. Surgery is usually viewed as a last resort after conservative, non-surgical treatments have not yielded sufficient relief. Our philosophy is to always examine non-surgical options first, such as physical therapy, medication, injections, and lifestyle changes. Surgery is advised only when it is the optimal choice to enhance your quality of life. About Our Team & Technology

Our center is home to a team of highly qualified, fellowship-trained spine surgeons with substantial experience in both complex and minimally invasive spine procedures. You can discover more about our surgeons’ qualifications, expertise, and patient-focused approach on our Meet the Team page.

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care through state-of-the-art technology, including: Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) techniques for smaller incisions, reduced pain, and swifter recovery. Navigation-Guided Surgery for enhanced precision and safety. Microscopic and Endoscopic Surgery for magnified, clear visuals of the surgical site. Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) to keep track of nerve function during surgery. Treatment & Surgery Process

MISS entails specialized techniques and instruments that enable surgeons to conduct procedures through very small incisions. This method reduces damage to surrounding muscles and tissues, offering benefits such as lower post-operative pain, shorter hospital stays, and a quicker return to daily activities.

The duration of your hospital stay is dependent on the type of procedure you undergo. For many minimally invasive surgeries, it can be as short as 1-2 days. More complex procedures may necessitate a longer stay. Your surgeon will provide you with a personalized estimate based on your specific condition and treatment plan.

Recovery is a gradual journey. It includes: Immediate Post-Op: Pain management and initial mobility. First Few Weeks: Supervised physical therapy and restrictions on certain activities.Long-Term: A structured rehabilitation program to strengthen your core and back muscles. Our team will furnish you with a detailed, tailored recovery plan.

As with any surgical procedure, there are possible risks, such as infections, bleeding, blood clots, or nerve damage. However, our surgeons take every measure to minimize these risks by employing advanced technology and leveraging their vast expertise. We will discuss all potential risks and benefits with you thoroughly during your consultation, allowing you to make a fully informed choice.Appointments & Cost
